Subject: Air filter box question by CorvetteBob on 2020/4/6 1:05:08 I’m wondering how much power a stock air box for an ‘85-‘89 can handle. They used them on Callaway Vettes. Will they handle a healthy 383? I’ve tried a box from later C4 with the larger opening, but it was shaped just good enough to never fit. I’ve been thinking of the Vortex Rammer, but it’s not bigger at the connection than the early C4 box. The TPIS box is no longer available. Can’t use the “Claw.” It’s shaped like the later factory box. Suggestions are very appreciated. Thanks in advance... |
