I’ve never had to do it, but I did replace a couple taillight bulbs on my ‘88. Not fun, so that’s why I asked.
The hoses attach at the top of the pump/sender and go not quite a foot to the hard line. There, they’re attached by means of those steel crimped connections, identical to the flex portion of the front lines where they leave the frame and go to the side of the block.
I guess I’m wondering if it can be done by way of one guy up top, and one beneath the car, with the spare carrier out, allowing for access.
Any ideas are appreciated.
