Subject: RIP 1989 Corvette by Matatk on 2020/9/25 18:16:13 Hey Gurus, Sad news to share. Yesterday there was a catastrophic event which claimed my car that I've had for the past 13 1/2 years. I can only speculate as to the cause but it seems to be fuel related. As I started the car it backfired in the intake and immediately caught fire. Luckily I was able to push the car away from the house which prevented additional damage but there was no saving the Corvette. It's a total loss. I'm dealing the with insurance headache now. I'm not sure what I will replace it with, I'm not jumping into anything right now. No worries, I'll still be around my Corvette brothers and sisters. No one was hurt and cars can be replaced easier than people. I'm thankful for that. |
