Subject: (PA) Emissions failed.... by Carneys on 2005/10/26 19:10:12 Hi All....I'm a new Corvette owner and just had the misfortune of having my '85 miserably fail Pennsylvania emissions. Please bear with me on these forums, I'm FAR from being a mechanic (fortunately, my brother-in-law is one and is helping me out alot!). My understanding is that if I put $150 into emissions repairs, they will let you slide. The car runs beautifully and we haven't noticed any performance issues...we did install new platinum spark plugs/wires, serpentine belt, and gave it an oil change but that's about it. Any quick suggestions on getting this beast to pass? :roll: Thanks! -Rob |
