I also have an '85, 120k miles, and the injectors had never been serviced. I took them out and sent them to Cruzin' this past January, it took Rich about a week, and I had them back. I am very, very pleased with Rich's service, and the cost is a fraction of replacements.

As for removing/reinstallation......if you're handy at all, it's not too difficult. Just take your time and follow Centralcoaster's advice, and it'll be worth it. I also took the opportunity to clean/paint some things, and bypassed the heater hose/throttle body. If I can do it, most anyone could.
