Seriously, don't go throwing parts at it. Get the manuals, and learn how to pull and read codes. You'll spend about a hundred for the books, but it will potentially save you thousands in unnecessary parts and labor costs.
Or maybe just pull the codes, and perhaps someone here can diagnose them for you.
