Subject: Re: Need Advice by bogus on 2008/8/16 19:56:52 a simple leak down test on the injectors is to put on a fuel pressure gauge and charge the system... see how long it takes for the fuel pressure to bleed off. It could also identify a wacky fuel pump. Another test is to remove the injector rails, charge the system and see if any injectors continue to leak. You can put little paper cups under the injectors and watch to see which ones leak or dribble some. You may want to check out Mekanics thread, too. He has a good source for injectors at a great price. |
