I have the same USB/ALDL cable and just did a quick check on my 86 and Datamaster seems to connect to the car fine, I cannot do a full test as the inlet manifold is off my car at the moment. Easy way to check is to just plug it up and give it a go, Datamaster gives you 20 free recording sessions to test. Previously I used a SERIAL/ALDL cable but my new laptop does not have a serial connector. |
