Service ABS/ABS Active/Vats

Subject: Service ABS/ABS Active/Vats
by TommyT-Bone on 2008/10/5 18:19:25

So I've been a bad, bad boy and let my Corvettes sit for a few of weeks because the weather sucked. To start off with the battery in the 91 was weak and wouldn't turn over. Put a charge on it for a couple of hours and I went to start it and the security light stayed on, wouldn't start. Screwed around with cleaning the key, opening the locks , disconnecting the battery, combinations of stuff till I finally got the light to go out. What's the best way to reset vats anyway?
Next, I get it started and the SERVICE ABS light is on. I let it warm up and the light goes out. Get in the car and the ABS ACTIVE light flashes on for a few seconds and goes out Is it something to concern myself with or is it the gremlins of October.
