Install tips / mods for B&M Ripper

Subject: Install tips / mods for B&M Ripper
by djxib on 2008/11/18 16:53:31

I want to avoid yet another thread on B&M vs Hurst (Hursts are still available direct from B&M, by the way..). I have decided to go with the B&M since I actively want the higher effort, maybe notchy, racey feel.

I understand from various posts on other forums that there are some 'commonly known' modifications that improve the occasional buzzing / rattling noises and 'free play' of the B&M shifter. However I've been searching forums for 2 hours now and apart from some references to 'grinding' the shifter I cant see the exact info.

Does anybody have such info that can be posted here, or PM'ed to me?

Cheers,
Andy.
