That is a link to the ebay auction for the one I was talking about. Price seemed too good to be true for a trans with converter that would stand up to 700 hp. Don't worry, I'm not ready to click the "buy it now", I'm just shopping around at this point. Is he listing the right parts and it is just a question of whether they are actually in there or not, or his parts list missing something? Or is he using not good parts?
That is Mad Dog Lou Do a search on Mad Dog Transmissions and you will have alot to read. He is a legend, and had been accused of every kind of wrong doing I have ever heard. No personal experience though.
He has been selling transmissions for less money than I buy the parts for. Sami85l98 saw him (re)rebuild his transmission in 3 hours. That included removal, replacement, overhaul, multiple governor changes and 6 or more 5 mile test drives.
