Subject: Re: Opti alternative? by VetteUSA on 2009/2/12 5:35:23 if/when (knock on wood) my opti goes out, i've wondered which route i'd go. I could go with the coil packs, (for some reason Delteq is the brand I always remember when thinking of coil packs for the LT1), or i'd buy an MSD opti, and most likely I would go with the MSD. The optis are fairly robust anyway, the only time they usually go bad is when there's a water pump failure. I wonder if the actual installation time for the coil packs takes about the same time as just swapping in a new opti. Let's just hope my current opti never goes bad and that I'll never have to make the decision. |
