I'm in the middle of swapping an 84 vette from auto to T56 (it is an LS1 swap).
I have the dash and bracing all apart. I purchased a set of pedals on CF, and they don't look like they will work.

The aluminum box is different shape on the new-to-me manual brake pedal (on the rear facing end, the master cylinder side is the same), and the pedal itself has too much material above the bushing, so it cannot be swapped into my aluminum box(I wish I had the proper term for that).

Also I cannot see where the clutch pedal and bracket will go.

Are 84 firewalls different between autos and manuals?

Is the bracing different auto vs manual?

What year pedals will work w an 84?

I'll try to get picks up tomorrow if that will help.

Thanks in advance!

I did this on my '87. Everyone on CF gave the typical retarded corvette owner response "sell it and buy a manual". Centralcoaster was very helpful with some of the ZF6 specific stuff, and most everything else I had to figure out while laying on my back with my feet in the hatch.

The manual brake pedal is a direct swap.

Actually, here is a link to a writeup I wrote which should help you. If you need more specifics after reading it hit me up.
