Subject: Whine in my 3:73 Diff by happydad on 2009/3/16 11:12:29 Hi Guru's...The rear pinion seal was leaking this winter and I have yet to replace it(Lazy)..But I did take it around the block for a shake down cruise and heard a whineing noise coming from the rear...Also heard a thumping like noise(off and On,Not real Loud) coming from back there also...I guess it's time to replace the seal and refill Huh?? Although the leak did'nt seem that bad..The rear has been rebuilt and should have had the proper amount of fluid(although I did not install it)..What do you guy's think |
