But, I also like your idea of having the overdrive kick in in fourth gear. I have two shifters. The 84 shifter which is in good shape, and an 88 shifter I bought off ebay. I was going to use the 88 shifter but the top button assembly is busted. I got a new shifter switch from my friend.If I wire in a relay, can I use that momentary switch to switch the overdrive on and off? Will that switch handle 12 volts or is it a low current switch?
