Re: 86 vette switching an auto trans to a manual transmission

Hi,

Yeah, I would like that feature. Not that Im gonna let anyone drive my vette except the wife. I know she is is gonna wanna drive it. She loves manual cars and knows how to drive em.
Well, we fabricated the shifter bracket today. I still need to get some aluminum spacers and longer bolts, but most of it is done. The C beam will give me some space and I can adjust height from there. When I cut the hole in the floor, I will have to seal it around the shifter with a thick rubber cover. I also need a rubber/vinyl bag to protect the shifter linkage from dirt, and water. If any of you have any ideas, let me know. Thanks.
