It should not be off by much. The shift rods pretty much dictate where the shifter will mount. Up too high or low, right or left will bind the shift rods. I slotted some of the mounting holes so I have room for minor adjustments. I hope this transmission is ok. I pulled the side cover on the T-10 and the gears look like new. I am gonna pull the pan on the overdrive, check to see if the fluid is burnt, new filter and gasket. I will keep you posted. Joe Flash |
