The heater core is still original, but every other part of the cooling system has been replaced. The coolant was chocolate brown as always, maybe some day after the 562nd coolant flush it will come out clean. Bought 2 gallons of Prestone and a jug of distilled water for $1.99. Damn that distilled water really did me in, I won't be able to afford Ramen for dinner now and will have to switch to a Fram oil filter to make up for the extra expense. Now I've gotta figure out how to run my rusty flush water into the gutter without the neighbors noticing. |
