Was the owner a "real" Corvette person or was it an idiot spouse/parent doing someone a "favor"? I don't blame the policy for this. I blame the owner. It's much like the abortion debate - just because it is legal doesn't mean you HAVE to have one. Part of what makes this so damned attractive to people is that the Vette in question was worth more dead than alive. Personally, I would have dropped an LS1 with a TKO 5spd into it. That woulda rocked. |
