I've never done this before but I take it when using a screwdriver or stethoscpe, the sound will really jump out? The sound seems louder under the driver sides dash.  Would an exhaust leak make a ticking sound that followed rpm? Maybe that could explain the rich smell? How can you test for an exhaust manifold leak? I have headers. |
