Alright! Now the fun part. All sub-assemblies are built, and it is time for the final checks, and assembly.

Remember, I have previously filled he output side of the case, and it is now time for the input side.

1st item of business is installing the selective thickness washer that controls the units endplay. Normally a #69 or #70 gets you close. I toss a #70 on because it was handy.

Next, I set the torrington washer, black side up, on top of the selective.

Notice the notches on the outside of the input drum above. The reverse frictions in the reverse drum must spline onto them. This involves a bit of wiggling.
