I am running a Vigilante 2800 stall. When the tranny was built last time it was taken apart, for whatever reason a shop would do that (maybe to look for cleanliness). Well, when I test drove it about 100 yeards I took it right back. We took the tranny out, and tried to figure out wtf, well the guy who rebuilt it (work release program) said he took it apart. And having a little knowledge I asked what the end play was. I got the deer in the headlight look.
So, I called Vigilante, and they told me what the range was. His was loose as a 2 dollar whore. SO, we used this fancy machine that does all the cutting and welding for you, and reset it to Vigilantes spec. The clutch in the Vigilante is huge.
Sorry for the run on, but it brought back memories of that place.
I do need to put a temp gauge, just havent figured out where to tap into, and to put the gauge.
My laser temp never went above 180, on pan and when I pulled dipstick out and checked it.
