The adapter, just looking at dimensions, is as beefy as the center of the wheel. Plus the adapters are usually made from billet aluminum. Chinese knock-off wheels are cast and would probably fail before the adapter. You do double the number of studs (and therefore double the chance of a stud failing). But otherwise I see no issues. |
