I had always heard on the other forum that 15 x 8 inch drag lites wouldn't clear the stock rear brakes on a C4. Summit makes a copy cat version of the Weld Drag lite that is a one piece wheel. The actual Weld wheels are 2 piece wheels that are welded together. The one piece wheels do not have the bead of welding material inside the rim that the 2 piece wheels do. I can't speak for all C4's, but on my 91 the 15 inch Summit wheels clear the rear brakes.

I would assume that the bead of weld taking up 3/16 around the inside of the rim is what causes the interference issue on C4's.
