You can make it happen. More accurately, you can make anything happen.



As you look at the speaker enclosures, view them as the base... the complex part comes next and that is to build the baffle up and out from the deck to support the 10" and still allow the top to fit. I don't envy you that task.

This would require a lot of cutting, fitting, testing, fibreglassing, bondoing... oh, and don't forget finishing with carpet.

It can be done...

Another option is a speaker box that spans the rear deck and joins the enclosures. I would have to measure, but they may or may not need the existing enclosures for air.

As for 8" subs that fit, there are only a couple... use the JL Audio 8W3 as a baseline.
