Subject: Someone PLEASE help me with my radio by NC Kid on 2007/12/31 21:35:54 I thought it was working again and it's not. It keeps cutting out when the car shifts, accelerates and sometimes idling. I replaced this piece in the distributor, new plug wiires, the dumbass radio shop said they put a filter on it and charged me 50 dollars about two weeks ago. I still can't find it. The guy at the front desk says they put it behind the CD player and it's not in there. They wont see me until next thursday. My mechanic is off until thursday for the holidays....Someone help me figure it out. I want to drive the car this weekend because all my friends are going to go cruising saturday night and I will want to drive the car. What is the problem with it? Where is the ground for it? I have checked fuses. I am at wits end with this thing. Nobody wants to help here or they are to stupid to admit they don't know what to do. I've searched all the wires I can in the car. No cut or loose ones. It's a kenwood if that helps. I'm ready to rip all the speakers out and sell the damn thing. Also, there is a new distributor, distributor cap, rotor button and I even took all that off to double check everything. What could possibly be left. Alternaotor and battery are new as well. I have a voltometer if that will help. Thank you for any insight. Edit: I posted pics here and everyone said they did a bad install but theres nothing I can do about it. |
