Subject: Re: Identify this sony unit? by smooth on 2008/4/18 22:47:36 Heres the pic. the unit is a a Blaupunkt BPV 655. See what has been done to the bezel?! I got a replacement bezel but do not want to have to do something like the last guy did....that looks pretty bad. To make matters worse, I pulled the rear speaker boxes and found the original Bose speakers....no amps left and hand written on the back of one of the speakers is "8 ohms".....sorry charlie, these suckers are 1 ohm. So you see, I do need something to tide me over for a while. I don't think just any unit will fit. I'll be on the look out for an eclipse.
