Subject: Re: Extended antenna height? by josephf31 on 2008/6/9 17:43:28 I need some of that for mine! I am pretty sure that one of the sections is not extending on my antenna. I have a replacement mast and ribbon, but was not able to remove the existing mast/ribbon. I tried (gently and not so gently) pulling up on the mast after removing the rubber body grommet and the hold down nut, but could not get it out. I assume the ribbon/mast is broken which is why it won't fully extend, don't see why I would need to replace the whole antenna, correct? Have looked up FAQs etc on mast replacement but none address this issue...any tips/advice? Thanks! |
