yup. FSM to the rescue.

From what I have found, check the OEM harness. You want the dark green/white to the radio. It should be at the OEM harness, actually. You won't have to go far. It's the same unchanged signal. I figured that GM would have modified it at the CCM, but apparently, no.

Also, if you want illumination control (dimming), on the same harness as the VSS, get the grey/black wire.
