| 86 radio removal |
Subject: 86 radio removal by zbo2 on 2007/8/5 18:05:21 i bought my 86 new and it only has 10,000 miles on it so i want to keep it original so i'm not going to be installing a new system. with that being said, i have no sound out of the speakers, it is a Bose system. this happened once before for about a year then all the sudden it started to work again. now i'm back in the no sound grove again. the radio seems to be working correctly just no sound. it's not like one speaker at a time went out it just a stopped playing tunes all at once. i'd like to remove the radio to see if i have a loose connection at the rear of the radio and just to investigate the situation to see if i have to send the radio out to Don's. can someone guide me as to taking the front bezel off to access the radio. it looks pretty straight forward however i'm not looking to break anything. any advice will be appreciated. thanks Joe |
