I think we all know there are 3 prices, trade in, private party and retail. Trade in is the lowest, but an indicator of what the other 2 will be.

My cousin has a beautiful blue C6 (06?). And he's a car sales manager. Just for kicks he asked the trade in guy what it was worth and he was shocked when the guy said like $28,000. I told him to call me before that ever happens
