I have a lot of personal recordings on cassettes, enough that we ordered the 2003 with the cassette player (akin to ordering an 8-track in a 1981 Corvette). Chevrolet was smart - they let you order the cassette, but if you did, they required the CD changer in the trunk. Now CDs are near obsolescence, but the presence of the changer controls means you can hack your iPod in.

At home, the Nakamichi CR7A (second best cassette recorder ever made) remains waiting and fully functional, but little used.
