Subject: Re: CC summer nationals by hcbph on 2014/7/21 16:22:57 Surprisingly, the first new car I ever owned was a 67 Chevelle Malibu 2dr Hardtop. I probably saw a dozen or more Malibu's and SS396's there, more than the number of C4's I saw. Another under represented group was the mid 70's Malibu's, had one of those also. On the flip side, there were a bunch of early Baricuda's, Challengers and Chargers, far more than I'd expected. Even saw an early 70's 428 Galaxy that someone had dropped a 351 into it. Still an enjoyable show none-the-less. Ironically when comparing my Vette to some of them there, I don't consider it a show car but it was up to par on alot of what I saw though I saw some that probably had $30k-$40K paint jobs. |
