Re: Last Sunday

Like I mentioned this was my 2d year for driving. Last year I drove an older lady that suffered from Spina Bifida. She told me that this picnic and getting rides in Corvettes is the high point of most of the kids year. The smiles and joy they showed made it so heart-warming. What I did was insignificant, all I did was share my passengers seat. I'm lucky, my kids and granddaughter are healthy and aren't saddled with this disability. Other than the crutches, braces and wheelchairs, you wouldn't know these kids were any different than my kids and granddaughter.

The person that arranged the meeting and rides is the one that deserves the praise. He did all the work, all I did was provide a passenger seat.

Like I've said, if you get the chance to do something like this, please do. You'll get so much more than what a little gas will cost you.
