I was looking at C5s drooling and watching the price drop. Then I read about the thin walls on the block for the early models, and transmission issues.

I can't afford a C6. And a C5 would be ok, if you got a low mileage later year car, say an 02 with 25k miles. But that's going to cost about $25k or more.

A 96 LT4 is an ideal next step.
