Subject: Re: 66 gto motor mount issue by bogus on 2010/3/28 17:00:37 wow... are we sure the mount adaptor kit is the right one? Just because it fits the engine doesn't mean it will fit the car. IIRC, the 389 and 421 were the end of the line for that block, and the 400 came out... and the 400 was much like the engines for Buick and Olds, start at 350 and go up to 455 on the same block architecture. I am not saying the Pontiac/Olds/Buick engines are the same (far from it), but they share that ability. It is a cool car, tho! |
