However, when I want to do something to the truck or the Chevelle, that's when she starts to raise an eyebrow. She enjoys driving the Vette (and I'm sure the attention it garners has something to do with it), and thus Vette repairs/maintenance/upgrades are a priority.
Unfortuantely, the truck and Chevelle get the short end of the stick. The truck was my DD until gas prices went way-up. Since then, I've been driving the wifes old Tercel, which now has 209K miles...
WOW, sounds like you and I are in the same sinking boat. LOL
Your cars are really sweet might I add.
I have a 71 Chevelle by the way in similar shape as yours, only my new 454 is in the basement in pieces, and my 700R4 is in the shed, and my interior is in the garage. Its going to be a very long while before she is on the road again. Chevelles are truly great cars. Mine rode like a dream too. Only problem is here in New York the car gets too much negative attention to get daily driven, which is why I find myself spending so much time on the vette and the impala. I get the death stare every time I talk about putting any sort of $$ into the Monte,... the car "I" wind up driving most days!
