Mine is an '89, which is the first year for them in the USA. Not sure about elsewhere. It has nearly 300,000 miles on the chassis. I bought it last November from the original owner. It is on it's third engine. The first and second engines each lasted about 150,000 miles. The one that is in there now has less than 10,000 miles on it. The interior is like new, and there are only minor dings on the body and original paint. It was stored in a heated garage. Got it for $2,500, which is a lot for that kinda miles, but I have a huge binder full of maintenance receipts, and I could tell the truck was loved, so it seemed like a pretty good deal to me. I enjoy driving it, but the 2.6 liter engine is pathetic. It can hardly get out of it's own way. I'd like to put another enging in there some day. Like a small V8. That would be so cool! |
