There is really no excuse to get hi-mile tires unless you drive enough to wear them out in 5 years. They have shitty grip and never wear out, so you're more prone to drive on dangerous tires. Those cracks are probably just in the outer casing, but you don't really know. If you drive a car 8K per year, a 40K mile tire is the best option. If you drive one less than that, get a sticker tire. If you only drive it 1K per year, do lots of burnouts. |
