Subject: Re: Ford Escape??? by DaleD on 2011/4/4 14:57:13 My wife bought an 08 new from the dealer. She loves it. It's been a good car. It's actually a rebadged Mazada Tribute. Two suggestions: Go with the 6 cylinder. The 4 is great for around town, but if you go on a trip, and go through the mountains in Virginia, it struggles. The gas mileage isn't that much different, if she had it to do over, she'd get the 6. But the 4 isn't bad. Get the leather seats. I don't know what Ford/Mazda was thinking, but the cloth seats stain if you look at them too long. Seriously, water will stain the cloth seats. Other than that, it's a good car, I like driving it. |
