However, a LOT of people DO drive them and a lot of money is spent on cars like that. Inherently, they all are kind of stuck in the same mold, and how many times can someone realistically reinvent the sedan. Four doors and a trunk, four wheels, lights in front with a grill, and lights in back. What I get from this, which is a very positive thing, is that Americans are buying American again. Ford with this Fusion, and Dodge with the Dart...are really stepping in the right direction to get us Americans interested in our own cars again. For the first time in a LONG time, we are starting to outsell the makers such as Honda and Toyota. All of the American companies have had super positive sales and profit figures and as they continue to rise everything else follows. That's why I really like he Fusion and the Dart. Not because I want one...or would drive one...but because I know the American people are interested in American cars again and that is worth a lot to me. |
