I leaped from 70's garbage (76 AMC Pacer) to an 81 Toyota Celica coupe.

The Toyota was a fine car. Well built, reliable. Not super durable yet, tho. But some of the issues related to an accident I had in 1985... hard to assess. But burned valves at 95k miles is a bit early.

I then started with Honda's... and those were well done cars.

And finally my Vette. Which has done ok, really.
