I remember I bought an 81 Caprice with that engine in it because ........ I can't remember why...... mileage? torque? Whatever reason it was the wrong one...... They docked me 1200 bucks when I traded it in on a 1986 Thunderbird just like awesome Bill from Dawsonville was driving and kicking ass in NASCAR. First Ford I ever bought......not a bad car.....Turbo 4 banger but would move right along....... They would take those diesel cars like that and yank the engine out of them and put a small block back in it and then they could sell them....... I don't think you see a lot of those Diesel cars at the auctions..... |
