Re: Four Very Different Coupes

Cars from the 80s have a special place in my heart. When I got my license in 2002 an 80's car was all I could afford. Had a blast in my 1985 Monte Carlo SS. It was beat but boy was it fun to drive. Of the 40 or so cars I have owned since then, that Monte ranks #2 on my favorites list.

Lets not forget of course the end of the C3 era and the birth of the C4... my 2 favorite generations of corvette spanned that decade.

Cars on my current to own list may not seem to impressive and are certainly very affordable if you can even find them. Some of them span into the 90's but they are 80s inspired.

Chevy Lumina Z34 with the 3.4L DOHC V6
Chevy Beretta GTZ Quad 4 with a Getrag 282 5 speed
The Pontiac 6000 STE AWD
Chevy Caprice
