They came over on musty salty ships, getting inundated with salty air and moisture. The only ones that survived were the ones that were washed out and lived in the Southwest! 2. Electrical glitches. My sister-in-laws (Roy's wife) brother had a 300ZX of about this vintage. The car was in the shop for all sorts of electrical issues. I remember specifically that the stereo was replaced at least once in his 2-3 year ownership. They did sell a number, but most were viewed as lux transportation, not anything "special" so they got driven into the ground, the engines salvaged to support early Z-cars and the rest rotted away. |
