That was a great truck. Dependable, sound vehicle and comfortable to drive. It had vinyl seat material, rear fold up seats, rubber floor mat, manual, long bed, 2.8l V6, 5 spd. Dark Blue over blue interior. Sticker was I believe $11,200. Traded my well beaten Cavalier on it. The Cav was great when new but everything mechanical seemed to deteriorate quickly. That car was a curse to me. It was less than a month old and I lent it to my ex-wife to go job hunting. She got into a fender bender banging a U-turn. It was all downhill from there. I don't know why I had such bad luck with others having accidents. Sue put a gash in the cab area that went clean through turning short into a fire hydrant. Got that repaired. Later some ass clown under-aged kid took his grandma's car for a joyride through the parking lot where my S-10 was parked and wiped out into 3 vehicles. Mine got the least of it. It was a hit and run and I believe the crash car was uninsured. The cop told me that getting any money from them my chances were slim to none. I filed with my own insurance and ate the $500. |
