First time ever, I have a check engine light. How the heck do you get a check engine light after doing brakes? Worst part is the car is OBD 1.5 and I don't have the scan tool. Ill just wait for it to go away. LOL Here's a question. My brake lines are shot on the car. I took a look at them today, and they could use a replacement. Not bad enough that i believe it is the cause of my braking problems or lack there of; what I was thinking of doing is buying a set of Stainless Steel Braided brake lines off Ebay. I don't want to spend the high $$ for Russell or Earl on a car with 200K but was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the cheapo Ebay stainless brake lines?? I just want to make sure they are safe. Dan |
