So the Silverado gets a "Ck Eng". I pull the code, "Secondary Air Bank",OK. I figure I'll clear it and see what happens. Now, no Ck Eng but the emmissions perameters need more drive cycles, OK. Amonth later, still not enough cycles. I was going to get the FSM (only available at Helms-$135) and just found a page on the web for the code. It says, "cycle the air pump on and off with the scan tool", fuk,fuk,fuk, my $150 tool's just a reader. And it says it takes 40+ warm up cycles to reset the perameters. Should kept my 77 Chev van. |
