Many had well over 200K when I sold or gave them away. I've been lucky I guess because I've never had any PS problems out of any of them. If it was leaking a puddle overnight - but there was no obvious spray or drip from the hi-pressure hose or a fitting when running... the first thing I'd suspect would be the plastic reservoir - followed by the front brg in the pump. Also be sure it's not ATF from a tranny cooler line. The radiators suck in XJ's and I've had a couple crack around the tranny cooler lines and leak so much ATF all over the engine compartment you couldn't tell where it was comming from. Will |
