Subject: Re: Bought a new truck by rklessdriver on 2009/10/8 12:23:36 No Manual trans. The C1500 Avalanche's came with the 5.3L Vortec and 4L60E 4spd auto trans. The C2500 Avalanche's came with the 8.1L Vortec and 4spd auto as well. Lots of guys here have GM trucks with the same auto tranny and pull their race cars and bikes and stuff with no problems. I can tell you the Avalanche's are nice trucks. Lots of room inside and they drive very nice. I don't know how well it tows yet but next month I have a trip to south GA (from NOVA). I will be stopping by my friends shop in NC to pick up a SS Monte Carlo and dragging it down there. Will |
